To the Rhythm of Colour...

A classroom full of lively children. A shower of sweets bursting from a piñata, filling every corner. A carnival dance. A rock concert. The bustling energy of a great city. Small figures, rendered in the artist's childlike style, seem to dance to the rhythm of music beneath an explosion of colour. An explosion of life, energy, optimism, spontaneity and joy, unfolding within a personal universe. Or an imagined one. Perhaps they are the artist's daydreams—or ours. Perhaps they are life itself. Or perhaps they invite us to revisit those childhood memories we carry with us into adulthood. Everything could be something, or nothing at all. Only they know. Only the artist knows. (Or perhaps not.)
